Welcome to our first session of Bridges Inside: Women and Prison for 2025. This discussion will take place on Thursday the 3rd of March from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the Rogers Room (N397) in the John Woolley Building. We will be discussing Moral Emotions Inside, a literature and philosophy program held in women's correctional centres around NSW. This will be followed by a discussion of DaMaris B. Hill’s book A Bound Woman is a Dangerous Thing (2019), a narrative-in-verse that bears witness to the history of incarcerated women of colour in America.
