Welcome to our third session of Bridges Inside: Women and Prison for 2025. This discussion will take place on Thursday, the 5th of June, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the Rogers Room (N397) in the John Woolley Building. Guided by our special guest Sacha Jamieson, we will be examining ‘Holistic Conceptualizations of Health by Incarcerated Aboriginal Women in New South Wales, Australia,’ a qualitative study that examines Aboriginal Australian women’s understandings of health. The second part of the discussion will bring this paper into conversation with a selection of poems from the Unlocked Anthology — a collection of poems written by incarcerated women who participated in Red Room Poetry's 'Unlocked Project.'
