    The Festival of Big Ideas is thrilled to announce its upcoming event, "Bright Ideas," scheduled for 7 June, at Kernot Hall in Morwell. Geared specifically towards Gippslanders aged 12-25, this event promises an exhilarating day of learning, exploration, and inspiration.

    Key highlights of the day will include a keynote address by Nadine Champion: Renowned martial artist, author, and motivational speaker Nadine Champion will deliver a captivating keynote address. Drawing from her vast experience in elite performance, Champion will share invaluable insights on overcoming obstacles and unlocking one's true potential.

    Bridge Building Challenge is an engaging activity where students will collaborate in teams to design and construct balsawood bridges. Racing against the clock, each team's creation will be put to the test for strength and durability. Supervised by experts from Federation University, this challenge fosters teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills, providing a glimpse into the world of engineering and innovation.

    Students can participate in the Human Rights Game which will be presented in collaboration with The Brainary, this interactive board game is based on the United Nations' 30 Articles of Human Rights. Through simulated scenarios and real-world societal challenges, students will gain a deeper understanding of their rights, freedoms, and responsibilities. The game encourages critical thinking and empowers young individuals to make informed decisions in an ever-changing global landscape.

    Additionally, attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch, a walk through a Virtual Reality world of renewable energy and meet other students for further discussion among peers and mentors.
