Experience Brisbane Festival’s Bright Nights by ANZ from a completely different perspective, aboard a river cruise positioned in front of the Star Casino and Victoria Bridge, with the spectacular water, light and laser show unfolding right in front of you.
Bright Nights transforms the Brisbane River into a choreographed canvas of floating fountains, waterscreens, animated water features, lasers and water jets reaching up to 80 metres high, accompanied by an exclusive soundtrack from Brisbane music royalty The Veronicas.

Friday 5:45 PM — Bright Nights Single Show Cruise

- When are the Bright Nights cruises?
Cruises are running on Thursday 24 September and Friday 25 September, with a Single Show and Double Show Cruise available each night.
- What’s the difference between the Single and Double Show Cruise?
The Single Show Cruise runs from 5:45pm–6:45pm and catches the 6:00pm show. The Double Show Cruise runs from 7:15pm–8:45pm and catches both the 7:30pm and 8:30pm shows.
- Is the cruise suitable for families?
Yes. The Single Show Cruise is specifically designed as a relaxed early-evening option and is great for families.
- Can we buy food onboard?
A cheese & charcuterie snack box can be added for $15 when booking. It is optional and not included in your ticket price.
- Can we purchase drinks onboard?
Yes. There is a fully licensed onboard bar, with drinks available for purchase during the cruise.
- How many people are on each cruise?
Each cruise has a maximum capacity of 130 passengers, and seats are limited.
- Where does the cruise depart from?
The exact departure point is still to be confirmed. It will be positioned around the Star Casino / Victoria Bridge precinct for the Bright Nights viewing location.
- Should I book in advance?
Yes. There are only two cruise dates, and once a cruise reaches capacity, it’s full. Booking early is recommended, especially if you’re coming as a family or group.
