Join us for a special lunch event recognising some of Sydney’s most promising young leaders who are already making a real difference in their communities. From health and education to sport, sustainability, and youth empowerment, these individuals are taking action and creating change.
Keynote Speaker: Ben Hobby – PCYC NSW
- Ben Hobby has been a driving force behind youth development programs at PCYC NSW, helping young people build resilience, confidence and leadership skills. He’ll share insights into how early support and opportunity can shape strong community leaders.
Special Guest Speaker: Alexia Paglia
- Alexia is a medical student, author and health advocate. Her children’s book, My Strong Heart, became an Amazon #1 bestseller, helping young kids understand the importance of heart health. She was named 2023 Young Citizen of the Year by Canada Bay Council and 2024 Young Sydneysider of the Year for her work promoting health literacy and inclusive medical education.
Guest Speaker: Kate Lienart – Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre & Aurora Education Foundation
- Kate is passionate about equity in education and youth support. Through her work at the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre and the Aurora Education Foundation, she advocates for greater access to education and opportunities for First Nations youth and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
This event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Sydney Youth Committee and is an opportunity to hear inspiring stories, connect with fellow community members, and celebrate the next generation of leaders.
