Robert Johnson resident Vaahzer aka Max Vaahs needs little introduction. The somewhat enigmatic figure is positioned at the forefront of HardWorkSoftDrink, the Frankfurt Collective committed to diverse cross-disciplinary projects encompassing music production and a flourishing vinyl-only record label. Alongside Vlada he recently co-founded the Berlin based, SpeLL, which has welcomed artists like Rhadoo, Lena Willikens, Nicolas Lutz, and Binh. Max has shared the stage with the biggest names in the scene and showcased his talent globally at renowned clubs like Closer, Berghain, Fabric, Lion and Lamb, Hoppetosse and CDV. His stripped back punchy sound has been recognised on prestigious international podcasts, including Francesco Del Garda’s Timeless series, YAY, HOR, KMA60, RA’s “In Residence” series and The Volks. Polka and Brighter Days are excited to welcome Vaahzer back to Australia for an extended set.
