Kids’ Stuff! 🧸 Kids & Baby Garage Sale – 2 Hours Only!

As part of the national Garage Sale Trail, Brighton Council is turning the Brighton Civic Centre into a giant kids’ garage sale — perfect for anyone who doesn’t have a garage (or simply doesn’t want to clear theirs out!).

This sale is just for children’s and baby items — toys, games, books, clothes, baby items and other pre-loved kids’ treasures.

🛍️ Want to sell?

Christmas is coming, so it’s the perfect excuse for a home clear-out. Turn the toys, clothes and baby gear your family has outgrown into cash — while helping another local family pick up a bargain.

Booking a stall is completely FREE. You’ll receive:

• approx 2m x 2m stall space

• one trestle table

• one chair

Please bring only clean, safe and sellable items. A good rule of thumb: if you wouldn’t buy it yourself or happily give it to a friend, please leave it at home.

No commercial traders, please. Only one table per seller, sellers must take home anything not sold or given away at the end of the event.

By booking a table, you agree to the following:

• 🪑 Tables are allocated in booking order. Your table location is final and cannot be changed on the day.

• 🧸 Kids’ and baby items only. This includes toys, games, puzzles, books, clothes and baby gear.

• 🚫 No commercial traders. This event is for families/community members selling their own items.

• 🍔 No food or drinks may be sold.

• ✅ Please only bring items that are clean, safe and in reasonable condition.

• ⚠️ Brighton Council may refuse or ask you to remove any item it considers unsuitable.

• 🚨 Do not sell recalled, banned, broken or unsafe products, e.g. out-of-date child safety equipment. Stallholders are responsible for making sure their items are legal, in good working order and safe to sell.

• 📦 Keep your items within your allocated stall space and keep walkways clear.

• 👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be supervised at all times. Parents and carers are responsible for their children’s behaviour and safety. Anyone behaving unsafely, causing disruption or disturbing other stallholders and visitors may be asked to leave.

• 💰 You are responsible for your own sales, money and belongings. Brighton Council is providing the venue only and is not responsible for items bought or sold.

• ⏰ Stallholders please arrive and set up between 10am and 12pm, no early birds.

• 🧹 At the end, please pack up promptly, leave your area tidy and take any unsold items with you. Unsold items cannot be left at the Civic Centre.

• 📞 If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your table to someone else.
