Welcome to Brimbank Park Running Festival 2021. Its been a challenging year since last March when we hosted the last of our events before shutdowns and restrictions were put in place. But we are positive and hopeful that 2021 will be a much better year and really looking forward to getting back on the trails in Brimbank Park. The new time schedule implemented in 2020 that helps keep congestion and gatherings to a minimum during the course of the day will again be implemented, so please note the start time of your event and allow time to park and collect your race number and attend a short race briefing.

0700 - 42km (starts first before the 50km)

0730 - 50km, starts after marathon

0830 - 21.1km

0930 - 5km

1100 - 10km

1200 - 2km

2km - 5km - 10km - 21km - 42km - 50km

Returning for its 8th year in 2021, Brimbank Park is becoming known as the North Wests must do urban park event. Highlighting the unknown set of trails a little off the beaten track not normally adventured onto during a park visit. A fantastic family day of enjoying the outdoors and some relaxing or strenuous exercise if desired.

As always Volunteers are the key to successful events.

If you would like to help out on the day please let us know. We would love to have you a friend or family member helping as a volunteer.

We need aid station helpers for this event along with a few marshals to point runners in the right direction.

Supporting CanTeen

All Trailsplus events donate $1 of each participant's race entry fee to CanTeen, the Australian organisation for Young people Living with cancer. You can choose to donate a little extra during the entry process if you would like too so far trailsplus and our supportive runners have contributed over $56000 to CanTeen.

CORONA VIRUS UPDATED TIME SCHEDULE BELOW

Trailsplus will be changing procedures associated with the Corona Virus and keeping people as safe as possible while outdoors enjoying fresh air and exercise.

NOTE EVENTS normally that flowed from longest distance to shortest in start time order are no longer in order to help spread the grouping of people throughout the day.

Presentation Times (approx)

Presentation will take place approx. 30min after 3rd place male/female in each event finish, this can vary on the day so please be understanding.

Brimbank Park offers great BBQ facilities for supporters to relax waiting for runners to finish. The Maribyrnong river flows through the park and offers a great opportunity to dangle the legs for a refreshing recovery soak. But we don't recommend swimming

If you have performed well and are a podium finisher, please allow time to attend the presentation and receive your trophy. Each winner not only receives a trophy but some great sponsor prizes when available, you have to be present to receive these additional prizes if available.

RACE BIBS

Please note that nothing is sent to runners in the post.

Race Bibs must be collected on race morning at registration,

this ensures we know who is present on the start line

timing chips on the bibs are to be returned in the box provided when you have finished your race, a fee may be charged for non return timing chips.

An "Info Document Pack" will either be uploaded on the website or emailed to all competitors in the week leading up to the race if there are any last minute changes that need to be conveyed,

otherwise all relevant information can be found on the website or via previous years notes always available until updated. ( previous years notes are 95% correct and may only contain weather and time updates )
