Declutter your home, help someone in need and support a more sustainable future by being part of Brimbank's Reusable Goods Drop-off Day.

Brimbank residents can conveniently drop-off their unwanted household items for reuse at this no charge event on Saturday 20 April from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Sunshine West Community Centre.

Items in good condition will be donated to local charities, West Welcome Wagon and Helping Hands Mission

Residents can drop-off the following items in good condition for reuse including: televisions, computers, small household appliances (like vacuums, rice cookers, toasters and kettles), furniture (small items that will fit into small apartments), coffee tables, bikes, bed bases (all sizes), homewares and bric-a-brac, bags of clothes, shoes, handbags, backpacks, jewellery, bags of towels and linen.

Please do not donate any furniture, clothing or homewares that are broken, damaged, ripped, stained or in any way faulty.

Please do not bring anything hazardous including asbestos, chemicals, oil, gas bottles, construction waste, biological waste, sharps, fluorescent tubes, smoke detectors, broken monitors, or bulky items like large pieces of furniture or mattresses.

Only cars, small vans or small trailers will be able to drop-off items. No trucks or commercial quantities allowed.

Please note, this event is for Brimbank residents only. Registrations are essential to avoid traffic jams. Please select from the times available during the registration process.
