Brindabella Regency and Victorian Dance Festival

You are invited to the inaugural Brindabella Regency (and Victorian) Dance Festival, proudly presented by Canberra’s Dance Delights.
Join us in our Nation’s Capital on the 15th and 16th April 2023 for a weekend celebrating the dance delights of the 19th century. The weekend will include: dance workshops, a Grand Regency Ball, a Rose Garden Picnic and Victorian Afternoon Tea Dance.
We will enjoy a wide variety of dances and all dances will be taught. No dance experience or partner necessary.
While costumes are not required they are very much admired. What better way to celebrate your favourite Regency (or Victorian) protagonist? Are you a Jane Bennet or a Jane Eyre? Release your inner Mr Darcy or even Mr Collins. Red coats are also very well liked indeed!

10:30-12:30pm Workshop 1
12:30-1:30pm Lunch
1:30- 4:00pm Workshop 2
6:30-7:30pm Dinner
7:30-11:00pm Regency Ball (with a break for supper)
Sunday Schedule
11:00-1:00pm Picnic in the Senate Rose Gardens
2:00-6:00pm Victorian Afternoon Tea Dance
Tickets include:
- Access to all events,
- Lunch, dinner and a light supper on Saturday
- Afternoon tea on Sunday
- Tea, coffee, water all weekend
Please note the Senate Rose Garden Picnic is self-catered and in the event of wet weather will be cancelled.
