This session is SOLD OUT, but we have now opened up a second workshop on Wednesday 11 October 10am-4pm**

The best memoirs read like novels. In this exciting session, you will learn how to turn anecdotes and family stories into a highly readable memoir. Jude will show you how to find your narrative voice and inject your story with descriptive scenes filled with life and colour. Jude will provide information and practical, friendly advice as you map the highlights, milestones and challenges of your life.

Please BYO lunch. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

Sat 7th    10 am - 4 pm $40-50         Writing Poetry for Pleasure and Publication    max 15

Do you write poetry? Perhaps you’ve written one or two poems, but they rest in a dark drawer. Or perhaps you’d like to try writing poetry. This session is for new and published poets, at all levels of experience, who want to have fun with words and catch a poem or two along the way. Let your creative side out for a day filled with poetic pleasure and wordsmithing.  Jude will cover styles of poetry, along with tips on generating ideas, and on editing and publishing your work, all in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Please BYO lunch. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
