Bringing Up Great Kids Term 4 2023

Bringing Up Great Kids is a 6 week program for parents of children aged Birth to 12 years old focusing on reflective and mindful parenting. The program is designed to promote reflection, and help you to respond rather than react to your children’s behaviours. Small group activities and discussions will support your learning. This group is offered in partnership with Metro Assist.

 You will explore: 

• Your parenting style and being the parent you want to be 
• Child and brain development to support you to understand your child’s behaviours and the connection with their thoughts and feelings 
• Communication barriers 
• Self-care- so you can sustain yourself to support your children 

This group will run face to face from 11-1pm as follows:

• Session 1 18/10/23
• Session 2 25/10/23
• Session 3 01/11/23
• Session 4 08/11/23
• Session 5 15/11/23
• Session 6 22/11/23

We warmly welcome infants under 6 months old to join their parents in the program. However, to ensure the best experience for all attendees, we kindly request that older children do not participate and we are unable to offer childminding services.
