The BrisAsia Dance Battles return in 2023 as part of the BrisAsia Festival.
One of Queensland’s biggest street dance events is back again, bringing Australia’s best to Brisbane for two days of exhilarating freestyle dance competitions and social dance. Up for grabs: Cash Prizes and Wildcard Entries into Radikal Forze Jam, Asia’s biggest independent international dance festival, to be held in Vietnam March 2023.
Day 1 will feature a qualification draw for 3 categories: Breaking 1v1, Popping 1v1 and Open Styles 1v1, followed by a social party night. This is not a day to miss, with over 6 hours of battles to feature.
Day 2 Finals will see the top dancers compete in Queen Street Mall for the ultimate prize. Expect to see dancers from a range of styles represent their communities, including Hip Hop, Popping, Krump, House, Locking, Waacking, Dancehall and more.
With international guests from Vietnam, Singapore, Japan and the U.S.A. on the line-up, you won’t want to miss this calendar event showcasing the best in Australian and Asian Street Dance.

Day 1 Competitor Entry: $20 per Category (1v1 Popping, 1v1 Breaking, 1v1 Open Style)
Entries will be capped.
Day 1 Spectator Entry: Free
Day 2 is not ticketed and is free to attend for all.
