Brisbane Big Ideas Challenge 2025
Event description
In line with Homelessness Week 2025, join us for the Brisbane Big Ideas Challenge 2025, when your young people in Years 7-9 will be supported to ideate, prototype and pitch their own innovative solutions to the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness.
Powered by Future Anything in partnership with Orange Sky Australia and QUT Entrepreneurship, students will learn from changemakers who are making a difference, every day, to the critical issue of homelessness.
The mission for participants:
"As a community leader, pitch an innovative idea that prevents, ends or reduces the suffering of those experiencing homelessness and hardship."
It's set to be an engaging and real-world learning experience for young people in Years 7-9. We’d love to see you and your students there!

* ICSEA stands for Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage. ICSEA is a scale which allows for fair and reasonable comparisons among schools with similar students. ICSEA provides an indication of the socio-educational backgrounds of students; it has nothing to do with the staff, school, facilities or teaching programs at the school. ICSEA isn’t a school rating. You can check your school's ICSEA Value at https://www.myschool.edu.au/
