Brisbane Body Positive Pool Party

The Reclaim the night Brisbane collective  is hosting a Body Positive Pool Party at Musgrave Pool on the 27 March 2021.Women and gendered folk are told not to walk the street alone at night. We have been told to dress modestly to avoid being raped, that our bodies are too old, too fat, not the right colour or shape. It is time to take back our bodies in a safe space. Join us for an evening of music, dance and zero prejudice.This is a body loving inclusive event and there will be support people available to maintain a safe and inclusive space. There will be music,food stall including a vego sausage sizzle  and a small market featuring feminist artists.The event is open to people of all genders and sexualities. Event is for people aged 16 and above. No photography is permitted.  The event is supported by local representatives including local BCC councillor for the Gabba ward.   Feel free to glam up or wear what you are comfortable in, we only ask that you keep your genital area covered.The event will raise money for community education and survivors of gendered violence.
