Brisbane Classical Guitar - Fundraising Concert 2024
Event description
We are the newly established Brisbane Classical Guitar, a community group and registered charity committed to promoting classical guitar playing and appreciation in the Greater Brisbane region. We host monthly Meet-Ups for the community of classical guitar students, enthusiasts and professionals to meet and share their love for our wonderful instrument.
Our first fundraising concert is a celebration of all things Classical Guitar in the city of Brisbane. There are so many wonderful guitarists and composers living in our city and we are delighted to share with you just a small sample of the great quality music and performers in the region. Performers include: Ben Ellerby, Libby Myers, Paul Ballam-Cross, Bronos Guitar Kentet, Rosa Guitar Trio and our BCG Members Guitar Ensemble, directed by special guest conductor Dr. Paul Svoboda.
Your ticket price goes directly toward our Meet-Ups as well as helping us to create our website, host our 2025 events and organise masterclasses for 2025.
