Australia’s biggest and best gluten free events!

Coeliac Australia brings you the Gluten Free Expos – events not to be missed by those with coeliac disease or following a gluten free lifestyle. After a hiatus in 2020 and 2021, these much anticipated events will return to four locations in Australia throughout 2022!

The Gluten Free Expo is the largest dedicated gluten free event in Australia. The Expo gives visitors a chance to discover new products, taste the best gluten free food or shop a bargain - all without the worry of asking ‘is this gluten free?’ The events also bring you leading health and wellbeing speakers on the Speaker Stage, helping you live your best and healthiest gluten free life!

Again, thank you for your continued support and we look forward to the relaunch of Coeliac Australia’s Gluten Free Expos in 2022 with a view to making these events – the only exclusively gluten free events of their kind in Australia – even bigger and better than ever before.

COVID-19 Statement

The Gluten Free Expo will be run in line with the current state and venue requirements. These requirements are subject to change; however, the current operating environment at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is as follows:

Visitors to BCEC are no longer required to check in or have proof of vaccination status to access the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC).

BCEC continues its venue safe practices, providing a safe environment for events, with visitor welfare a priority.

The Centre’s health and hygiene protocols remain including:

Sanitisation stations strategically placed throughout the Centre
Strict cleaning regimes and practices
Signage promoting hand hygiene and crowd etiquette
The Centre’s health and hygiene operating protocols are supported by VenueShield, a world class, best practice environmental hygiene program of the most advanced hygienic safeguards, informed by public health and medical experts and used by ASM Global’s 350 venues worldwide.

Refund policy

Student relates to full time students upon presentation of ID. Concession applies to holder of a current Health Care Card and/or Pensioner Concession Card upon presentation. Tickets terms and conditions Contact tracing information COVID management Conditions of entry, COVID Management: All patrons attending Gluten Free Expos understand that: - We expect patrons to regularly wash or sanitise their hands. Hand washing and sanitising stations will be available for patrons throughout the venue. - You should not attend Gluten Free Expo if you are feeling unwell and displaying any COVID like symptoms. Do not attend Gluten Free Expo if: - You have been in close contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19. - You are positive for COVID-19. - You have travelled overseas or to a declared COVID-19 hotspot in the previous 14 days. If you attend Gluten Free Expo and you feel unwell: First Aid will be onsite with personnel located at the entry. If you feel unwell or appear unwell you will be assessed by our First Aid staff. If First Aid determine that you may have Coronavirus, you and your group will be required to leave. A full refund of tickets will be provided. If you are unwell and suspect you may have Coronavirus or are waiting for a test result and cannot attend Gluten Free Expo, contact us as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after the event and a full refund will be provided. Documentation of the COVID-19 test would be required for this refund. CA has the right to make any changes to the Event that comply with the latest COVID position by state prior and/or during the Expo. Ticket sessions With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions we are pleased to offer non sessional tickets. Tickets can be purchased as a single day ticket, valid for either Saturday or Sunday. Booking fees You will be charged a booking fee by Humanitix and this will be added to the purchase price of your ticket. Refund policy In the event of the Expos being cancelled CA will refund 100% of the ticket cost. Please note the booking fee charged by Humanitix is not refundable. Where the Expo event is cancelled by Coeliac Australia, all tickets and booking fees will be refunded in full. No refunds will be given in respect of any non-attendance. If the Expo event is postponed, all tickets will automatically be valid for the new date and refunds not automatically offered on tickets/fees. CA reserves the right to make cancellations, substitutions and alterations to speakers, topics and/or the schedule of the Event at any time. Notice of any changes will be announced on the website www.glutenfreeexpo.com.au and via email communications. Such changes do not constitute a breach of contract by CA and do not trigger any liability. If CA changes the time and/or location of the Event, CA will provide with notice of the changes and will offer attendees the choice of either a refund or the opportunity to attend the Event as varied. General ticket terms & conditions CA will collect, store, and handle personal information about attendees in accordance with CA’s Privacy Policy and State and Federal Contact Tracing requirements. CA has the right to contact attendees post the Expo event for the survey purposes. CA cannot accept liability for advice given or views expressed by any at the Event or in any material provided to attendees by third parties. By attending the Event you acknowledge that you may enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. You grant CA the right to use your image and likeness for marketing, social communications, and promotional purposes, unless you specifically request removal of the photo or video in writing. This is a condition of entry consent unless advised by the patron and exhibitors in writing as per the above procedure. Presentations, documentation, materials, and content made available to you as an event attendee are subject to copyright. You may only use the materials and content for your own private non-commercial use. No part of the materials and content covered by copyright should be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, transmitted, or republished in any form or by any means without the express written permission of CA. CA Events will often be held at third party venues and premises. All Attendees are required to observe and comply with any safety advice, site signage, alcohol consumption and security requirements of the venue. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CA is not responsible or liable in negligence, contract, tort or otherwise arising if you or any other person incurs, experiences, or suffers an accident, direct or indirect loss including to property or person, damage, fatality, injury, psychological injury, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment, or health related issue whatsoever whilst in transit to or from the Event and/or at the Event. You fully and finally release and discharge CA from any liability, claim, action, right or entitlement whatsoever that you have or may have against us whether known or unknown, accrued, contingent or inchoate arising out of, concerning, or relating to the Event. CA will not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations under the T&Cs to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental, or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of CA, its agents, or employees.
