Brisbane Lunch with a Leader - Andrew Connor

The Peter Cullen Trust “Lunch with a Leader” is a small gathering of Fellows and Friends with interesting, friendly and lively discussion led by some of Australia’s most informed people in the water and natural resources sector.

The next Brisbane Lunch for 2024 features Andrew Connor, Executive Director, Office of Circular Economy, Department of Environment, Science and Innovation.

Andrew has extensive experience as a Senior Executive in the Queensland Government. His Executive Director roles have included compliance and enforcement for Queensland’s environmental regulator, responsibility for the process to scope and consult on the establishment of an independent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for Queensland, and most recently for the Office of Circular Economy.  Andrew has been instrumental in driving a number of significant reforms in the management of Queensland’s environment.  

Having recently announced his retirement from the public service, Andrew will share some reflections on his career journey. Well-respected in his department as a leader driving change and supporting his staff, Andrew will be able to share and discuss his leadership insights.
