Multicultural Impact Entrepreneurship Experience
Event description
Brisbane's multicultural community are invited to join a fun & free entrepreneurship workshop & panel conversation on using business to create impact.
During a jam-packed workshop (2-4pm), followed by a panel conversation and Q&A (4-5pm) in central Brisbane, you’re invited to engage in a range of informative workshop activities and networking to help take your business to the next level. You’ll grow your network and engage with key leaders in the space.
The agenda for the 2 hour workshop, led by Tom Allen (Impact Boom) and Kim Rollason-Nokes (Ethni & Mantua Sewing Studio) will remain adaptive, as we seek to best respond to the needs of our participants.
Please come with an open mindset, to learn, share your experience and connect with others.
The panel discussion will focus on key opportunities and challenges for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers in starting a business and will invite you to be part of the conversation with questions.
Panelists include Santiago Mejia Acoste (Yaku Latin Goods), Kim Rollason-Nokes (Ethni & Mantua Sewing Studio), Etienne Roux (Access Community Services) and Carolina Villaça Parker (Amora Creative). The conversation will be moderated by Tom Allen (Impact Boom).
