They will describe some of the key challenges with supported accommodation and will outline the need for reform that will advance the full deinstitutionalisation of people with disability.

However, disputes can arise about whether a development is a community residence or another type of use, causing uncertainty and conflict for SDA developers, providers, investors and governments.
