When was the last time you allowed yourself to dare to dream? Women’s Network Australia (WNA) is proud to create a safe place to dream, in fact, we’re doing just that with our Christmas Charity Luncheon.
It is our dream that through supporting an organisation dedicated to creating safer futures for women and children we will literally, change lives.
Our MC Rachael Tiernan, will bring her energy and enthusiasm along as well. Who knows what she has in store for us this year.
Our program will be light and fun, keep you entertained, and give you the opportunity to network and enjoy the day with your friends and colleagues. There will be prizes galore in the Charity Raffle with tickets available online and on the day, great food and fabulous opportunities to meet like-minded business-women who love to network.
‘Conversations on the Couch’ with our Humble Leaders
Through the chapters of Humble Leaders you were introduced to twelve amazing women, all WNA members, from diverse and with very different life stories. The writing is honest, bold and from their hearts.
As yet another opportunity to celebrate our incredible authors, this event will include Conversations on the Couch with two of our Humble Leaders - Jody Sainsbury and Margaret Campbell-Ryder - moderated by our MC Rachael Tiernan who will squeeze out all the juicy bits for you.

Looking back, Marg was always a doer. People around her always knew that if something needed doing, Marg would get it done. This landed her in retail, being headhunted from one group to the next, one industry to another. Taking on these challenges allowed her to set trends that others followed, copying her initiatives and vying for her role and results. It was love and art that then took her on a completely new path…
Jo Sainsbury, Founder, Kickass Women
Life can throw us challenges and turning points. For Jo, the turning point was a two-year prison sentence. It was the catalyst for major change in her life. Being away from her two teenage sons and husband was the hardest thing. But it also revealed a silver lining that saw Jo re-enter the world stronger and more certain of herself. Rather than return to corporate suits and high heels, Jo went hard hat, steel caps and high vis, finding her true calling in one of the most male dominated industries there is.

Our Charity: Women’s Legal Service Queensland
Women’s Legal Service Queensland provides free legal and social work support to Queensland women. Sadly, 40% of calls to the WLSQ state-wide Domestic Violence Legal Helpline are going unanswered due to resource constraints. And that’s where you can help – all proceeds from today’s raffle go to Women’s Legal Service Queensland to help answer those unanswered calls for help and potentially save a life.
