Allow me to introduce myself as the pink-haired lady behind the vibrant and transformative events of KonnectFEST. With my love for all things pink, including my bright and vibrant hair, I bring a unique spark to the disability sector and the NDIS komunity. With over 20 years of experience in the community and disability sector, my passion for supporting and empowering individuals has always been at the forefront of my journey.

Being a mother to my autistic and ADHD son has been a profound learning experience. He has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, determination, and the beauty of embracing neurodiversity. His journey has inspired me to advocate for everyone and create an inclusive space where everyone is valued and celebrated. Recently, I received a diagnosis of ADHD myself, which has deepened my understanding and empathy for the neurodivergent community.

Known affectionately as the Pink-Haired Networker in the NDIS Komunity, I am Karen, the CEO of KonnectFEST. My vibrant appearance reflects my personality and my commitment to creating vibrant and transformative experiences for all participants. With a strong belief in the power of konnection and collaboration, I strive to bring people together, build genuine konnections, and create a supportive and non-competitive environment.

KonnectFEST is a thriving and dynamic Kommunity that started in 2021. Its growth and success stem from the shared vision of konnecting NDIS providers and participants in a supportive and meaningful way. This event represents a celebration of positivity, inclusivity, and the power of human konnection. It provides a space for individuals to be their authentic selves, share experiences, and learn from each other.
