BRISBANE RIVER CRUISE

22nd – 29th August 2020

Saturday 22nd	1600 hrs: Meet at Canaipa Pt for briefing ashore and BYO drinks and BBQ to kick off the week.
Sunday 23rd	0900 hrs: Up anchor and proceed to Bulimba Pt anchorage. Evening free, Note It is a short dinghy ride to pontoon near Newstead House to try the renowned steaks at the Breakfast Creek Hotel. 30NM HW 1310
Monday 24th	0900 hrs: Up anchor for a leisurely cruise through the city. Continue up river and anchor in the Mermaid Reach after the Centenary Bridge. 19NM HW 1500 1600 hrs Meet ashore at the Jindalee Boat Ramp Park & pontoon for BYO drinks and early BBQ.
Tuesday 25th	0900 hrs: Proceed in convoy up river to Taylors Nook (as far as our boats will allow) Evening free on boats 18NM HW 1723
Wednesday 26th	0900 hrs: After leisurely sleep in and breakfast, a ducky ride to investigate Venus Pools and Colleges Crossing. 0NM 1300 hrs: On return meet ashore at Kookaburra Park for BYO Drinks and BBQ lunch or visit Brisbane River Golf Club.
Thursday 27th	0800 hrs: Proceed in convoy down river and anchor in Canoe Reach. 23NM LW 1125 1600 hrs: BYO drinks in Sir John Chandler Park adjacent to Indooroopilly Golf Club.
Friday 28th	0800 hrs: Proceed down river through the city to leave the river and anchor at Canaipa Pt. 41NM
Saturday 29th	0800 hrs: Head for Dux for a final BBQ and Drinks. 1600 hrs Meet ashore at Dux for drinks and early BBQ.

NOTE:

All cruise participants must be SYC Gold members (or equivalent Country, Senior, Life).
All participants be aware that they are solely responsible for their own boats at all times.
Cruise participants please monitor VHF CH 72 during cruise.
Participating entry fee of $10 is payable upon registration for the cruise.
We will try to maintain radio skeds at 0800 and 1500 on VHF Ch 72 to keep you advised of any changes
