Bristol BID Gardening Club - Temple Gardens
Description
Join our new monthly Gardening Club to enhance Temple Gardens, a small but historic piece of green space within our city centre.
Participants will help tidy and rejuvenate large empty flower beds that run alongside the church, increasing the bio-diversity and attractiveness of the garden.
Each month, the session will involve a range of tasks including weeding, planting bulbs and new plants and litter picking.
There are two one hour sessions to choose from: 11am–12pm and 12pm–1pm. Please book the session you plan to arrive for, as this is when the team will explain the day's tasks and provide any equipment you need.
You are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you like. If you would like to volunteer for the full two hours, simply book the 11am session, there is no need to book both time slots.
All tools and materials are provided, simply come prepared for the weather, a waterproof coat, shoes you don’t mind getting muddy and a drink are recommended.
This project is delivered in partnership with English Heritage, the guardians of Temple Church, which opened to the public in 2023. Temple Church | English Heritage
