BRIZ CHILLI FEST HALLOWEEN 2022

Just when you thought it couldn't get any hotter, Briz Chilli Fest will be taking things to the next level on Saturday 29th October 2022 from 12pm to 8pm at the Rocklea Showgrounds.

The festival has moved to coincide each year with Halloween and in doing so will create one of Brisbane's most fun family events at one of Brisbane's most historic grounds.  We are proud to be supporting the Rocklea community by hosting our event in their midst, as a morale-booster after the terribly devastating flood damage this small community suffered early in 2022.

Hot as Hades! Spicy and Spooky! Ghost Peppers and Ghouls - the fun of combining Halloween will mean an opportunity for some fun costumes and maybe even win a prize in the different categories:  adult, couple, kids, pets.   Including a chilli-aspect in the costume will get extra points from judges.

PLEASE NOTE:  The venue does not permit animals on the premises (excepting show animals).

Patrons will of course be encouraged to dress in Halloween costume to be in the running for prizes for different categories. Including a chilli-aspect in the costume will get extra points from judges.



Be prepared for a super-fun event that will become a much-anticipated date in the Brisbane events calendar.

Kids will have their own free Spooky Space - a Halloween-themed area children can enjoy some fun in a supervised, enclosed space. There will be spooky story-telling, spooky craft activities, and a great "black light" area for kids to just have fun in. Children 3-8 must be accompanied by a parent. 9-14 year olds can enter and be supervised by our "Ghostly Guards".   There will also be a big selection of giant lawn games for everyone to enjoy. 

Skulls, flames, grim reapers - they are all images which abundantly adorn the chilli industry marketing landscape - and now they will have found a home at Briz Chilli Fest Halloween.

It's a great day for all ages- bring a picnic rug, find a spot to set up "base camp"  or relax in our very large covered licensed area.  

There'll be car and motorcycle displays .

Kids can visit the animal nursery, go crazy on the jumping castle or Disco Dome, have their face painted. 

Our liquor licence will not accommodate BYO.  Bag-checks will be conducted at each entry.  The usual RSA guidelines will apply to service at our Afterburn Bar or Champagne Bar, with secondary service monitored by our Security Team. 

Obtain beer, wine, cocktails (including chilli beer and chilli cocktails) from our Halloween-Chilli themed Afterburn Bar.   

Our food vendors will be offering some special Halloween-themed food and drinks. 

We may get a visit from some spooky characters roaming the festival site - so make sure your phone is charged up and ready to snap away.    

4 Voices Global are our main charity partner for the festival and will be conducting multi-draw raffles.  

The big-hearted fellas from Viking Breed Motorcycle Club will again be there to help raise money by auctioning off a bunch of pillion rides so you can be VIKING FOR A DAY -on festival day.  We will also have a multi-draw raffle supporting Lil Bug Love.

Of course, our festivals always feature high quality music offerings and Sean Mullen will be there once again to entertain some HOT tunes.

The beautiful girls from Brisbane Academy of Dance (Stafford) will keep temperatures high with some hot dance moves, and special cheers to keep our Chilli Challenge contestants on track!
