BROADWAY, BABY! ENCORE!
Starring Rupert Noffs
with ARIA Award–winning Musical Director Bev Kennedy
Featuring “Interference” by Mark Trevorrow
Plus… Very Special Guests!
Fresh from a sold-out season at Ginger’s at The Oxford Hotel and national tours alongside Bob Downe, Rupert Noffs and Bev Kennedy return with Broadway, Baby! Encore! — a joyful, funny and deeply personal celebration of musical theatre.
Blending iconic Broadway songs with razor-sharp humour, heartfelt storytelling and powerhouse vocals, Broadway, Baby! Encore! is a love letter to the music, chaos and magic of life on and off the stage.
Expect big numbers, intimate moments, unexpected laughs and the kind of cabaret that leaves audiences both cheering and slightly emotional.
Throughout the past three years, Rupert, Bev Kennedy and Mark Trevorrow have performed together to sold-out audiences across Australia in Old Friends Sing Sondheim, Old Friends and two national tours of Choose Bob — celebrating 40 years of Bob Downe.
A trained singer and actor, Rupert Noffs is also the grandson of the legendary Reverend Ted Noffs, founder of the Wayside Chapel and the Ted Noffs Foundation. Broadway, Baby! draws deeply from Rupert’s extraordinary life on and off the stage — from growing up surrounded by theatre and activism, to performing in New York, touring Australia, caring for his mother, and ultimately finding his way back to the spotlight.
Now, following an extraordinary run of sold-out shows and national tours, Rupert and Bev return home to Ginger’s — Sydney’s purpose-built cabaret jewel on Oxford Street — for a brand-new encore season.
At its heart, Broadway, Baby! Encore! is a reminder that dreams don’t have deadlines. Even when life doesn’t follow the script — the show can still go on.
