Building on the success of Opera By The Lake in 2021, Duchesne College is proud to present Broadway By The Lake in conjunction with the UQ School of Music, and Cre8ion. We are thrilled to welcome back distinguished opera singer, actor, director and writer and UQ School of Music Adjunct Associate Lecturer, Tarita Botsman, as Creative Director of this very special event.
The 7 Sopranos & Cre8ion presents Broadway Belles – an exciting line up of Queensland’s best and brightest professional musical theatre and crossover talents!

- Hannah Grondin (Rent, Bare: The Musical, Women in Voice)
- Heidi Enchelmaier (Rent, Chicago, Wicked, Mamma Mia)
- Jacqui McClaren (Rent, Spring Awakening)
- Marcia Penman (The Secret Garden, Songs from Stage and Screen, Julie and Julia)
- Natasha Vesselinovic (Les Misérables, The Railway Children, Into the Woods, Killer Queens)
The Broadway Belles' performance will be interwoven with Broadway numbers performed by Duchesne College and UQ School of music students - hits from Cats and Chicago to Chorus Line and many more!
Saturday 27 August, two performances only:
