We open Tuesday to Saturday. Once in a while something comes along worth breaking that for.
This September, three generations of the Harch family travel from Eden Valley to Orleans. Founder Trevor Harch, who bought the vineyard in 2007 and named it for his four grandchildren — Bronte, Mackenzie, Charli and Jack. Darren Naylor, who runs the estate. And Mackenzie himself, the eldest grandson, who will pour you the Riesling that carries his name.
Brockenchack is custodian of Riesling vines planted in 1896, believed to be the oldest in Australia. On the day you’ll taste that fruit twice — the 2016 poured beside the 2025, same vines, nine years apart, with the family who made both at your table to talk you through it.
Seven wines across four courses, including the TWH Shiraz Cabernet, named for Trevor William Harch himself, and the William Frederick Shiraz, Brockenchack’s pinnacle release since 2009, named in honour of Trev’s late father.
French-American cooking, Eden Valley in the glass, and the family behind it in the room.
