Nau mai, haere mai, I welcome you to gather with your bros so we may connect through breath. A space where together we can explore methods of improving the quality of our overall wellbeing by harnessing our breath. A session that may help to shift our state of consciousness, supporting us to gain peace, presence and perspective, as well as, fostering deeper connections with body, mind, spirit and community.

The evening flow is designed to create collective strength and unity as we embark on our personal inner work, as one. The evening will contain a few elements that will help support us to move towards a sense of wholeness through acceptance.

// What to expect //

- We will open with setting the container and sharing cacao, inclusive of a mushroom blend courtesy of Flow State, to help support our nervous system, airways and overall physiology for the journey ahead.

- We will explore regulatory breathing exercises that you can take home and incorporate into your own practice. A mixture of pranayama, qigong and western science supported techniques, which will also help serve to warm the breathing body before we move into our deeper breath journey.

- We will have an opportunity to experience our psyche through a breath induced non-ordinary state of consciousness, which may help to initiate self-oriented growth and what is commonly referred to as healing, however, maybe more accurately - creating space to embrace all aspects of who we are, as we are, inclusive of our past, present and future.

- We will have an opportunity for conversation, where we may share our experiences, insights and collective wisdom through our unique perspectives.

- We will close the space by sharing some grounding winter veg soup.

// Cost //

Koha/Dontation. There are two opportunities to give if you feel called, when booking or on the day. I’m all about accessibility bro, just give what you can. What’s most important is your presence.

NOTE: Booking is essential, due to the nature of the experience I will be capping the group at 10, so secure a space by visiting the link below. It’s gonna be a time and it will fill up, so don’t be shy, commit. BYO Blanket. Space will be warm but sometimes people like something extra.

This is a brave space, one where we collectively support and endeavour to uphold the safety of the container by honouring some core agreements which help us to show up in our authenticity, as we are.

Confidentiality: Please come respecting the privacy and experience of the other men in the space.

Authenticity: Come as you are bro, this is a space to leave the masks at the door.

Non-Judgement: Accept yourself and the men around you as they are, for who they are, with compassion, kindness curiosity and consideration.

Punctuality: Time is our most valuable resource, let’s honour this by being timely with our arrival so we can begin and close with respect to our other commitments.

// Facilitator //

My heart and soul lays within the field of wellbeing, first for myself, so I may be strong to be useful. My facilitation work was established in 2010, with a focus on intentional men’s spaces in 2020. Today, I work as a part of a team delivering transformational retreats incorporating practices such as meditation, yoga, qigong and taichi, natural movement patterns, breath, contrast therapy, nature connection, psychology and philosophy. I am a developing student of psychology, so I may build upon my work and help to improve community health services. My intention is to create spaces where people support themselves and one another through collective experiences, discovering the healer within and trusting in its innate wisdom.
