Event description

Thanks to the support of our MAJOR SPONSOR, Foundation Broken Hill and the additional support of AGL and TRONOX, the third annual Broken Hill Science Fair will take place in the Gary Radford Pavilion of the Broken Hill Racecourse on Sunday 25th May 2025.  The Science Collective is pleased to be offering two fabulous 3 hour sessions on the day with amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.  The Rotary Club of Broken Hill will also be providing a BBQ and Chalky's will be there with that all important coffee van.

Sing along with Bluegum Bill's Wildlife Safari Show and don't miss SciFiBri's Fire, Froth and Fog Show or the amazing virtual reality experience provided by IgniteVR.  There will be an interactive 'Toddlers' Corner' to keep younger visitors engaged while older children will have a wide range of hands-on fun activities and challenges including the popular electric circuit activity that has had a recent upgrade.  The Marine Discovery Centre will also have a fascinating and interactive marine science display.

We know that with costs rising in many areas a day out with the family needs to be affordable.  So again this year and with the support of our sponsors, all children under the age of 16 are FREE (but still need tickets).   We have also kept the price of adult tickets to just $10.

Last year the event was SOLD OUT a week before the day, so don't delay in booking your tickets now at www.thesciencecollective.com
