Broken Hill Science Fair 26 May 2024 Morning Session

Event description

Thanks to the support of Maari Ma Health, Foundation Broken Hill, AGL, Cobalt Blue and Tronox the second annual Broken Hill Science Fair will take place in the Gary Radford Pavilion of the Broken Hill Racecourse on Sunday 26th May 2024.  The Science Collective is pleased to be offering two fabulous 3 hour sessions on the day with amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.  The Rotary Club of Broken Hill will also be providing a BBQ and Giovanni & Co will be providing that all important coffee.

Sing along with Prof Flint of Dinosaur's Down Under and don't miss SciFiBri's Fire and Bubbles Shows or or the amazing Bugs n Slugs display.  Maari Ma Health are once again providing an interactive 'Toddlers' Corner' to keep younger visitors engaged while older children will have a wide range of hands-on fun activities and challenges including the popular electric circuit activity that has had a recent upgrade.  No Science Collective event would ever be complete without the Slime Bar, guaranteed to ensure that every child can take home their very own (non-messy) slime creation.

We know that with costs rising in many areas a day out with the family needs to be affordable.  So again this year and with the support of our sponsors, all children under the age of 16 are FREE (but still need tickets).   We have also kept the price of adult tickets to just $10.

Last year the event was SOLD OUT a week before the day, so don't delay in booking your tickets now at www.thesciencecollective.com
