Brookline Ceasefire March
Event description
Join community members of all backgrounds, faiths, and creeds coming together May 4th to support an immediate Ceasefire in Gaza.
Many of us have differing views on what should or should not occur to resolve the conflict in Palestine. What we can agree on is that the sheer scale of the loss of human life in Gaza is unacceptable. No matter what your political ideology is, no matter your race, no matter you religion, we are all human. We must join together for our common goals to ensure a ceasefire, and the return of hostages and political prisoners as a first step to lasting peace in the region.
The half mile march will begin at Cypress Park right next to Brookline High School just after 11AM and conclude at Brookline Town Hall where community leaders and faith leaders will give remarks to remind us of our common humanity and commitment to peace and justice.
