Event description


Join us for a nostalgic adventure to the cinema with our fundraiser screening of THE GOONIES!

A group of young misfits called The Goonies discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate's long-lost treasure. Starring a very young Sean Astin and Josh Brolin!

Tickets are $25 each and all profits go towards Brooklyn School’s playground upgrade for the youngest students (Tui classrooms).

THE GOONIES (1985) is rated PG with a content warning for coarse language. There are also some mildly scary scenes.

This event is General Admission - come early if you want the best seat in the house!

Parking

There is a pay and display car park located on the south side of the cinema building on Ohiro Road.  You can also pay for the southside (downhill) carpark inside the cinema at the tills.  Not the north side park. The carpark is camera operated by Smart Compliance Management. If you have any issues with parking please do not hesitate to email office@penthousecinema.co.nz 

Otherwise - there is limited on street parking around the venue.
