Siblings are the longest relationship you’ll have in your life. The role of siblings in the lives of people with disability are unique, and often don’t receive the same focus as the role of parents. But there are so many ways that siblings can contribute to a good life for their family member, both now and in the future.

Through posing the question of ‘what is important in your own lives?’ we will discuss how we can support and advocate for our siblings to lead similar, ordinary yet meaningful lives, from moving out of home, to careers, travel, relationships, and everything else in between.

This session will include a light meal upon arrival and opportunities for conversation and connection with other siblings.
