The Bruce Brothers - Cape to Cape Film Premiere and Q&A
Event description
We are incredibly excited to share this short film titled 'Together' and chat about the experience with you all.
Official Trailer -
When: December 19th, 6:30pm start
Where: Piccadilly Cinema in North Adelaide
What: Two brothers, side by side, 156km, 20 hours & 37 minutes. We ran Cape to Cape for Canteen Australia across Kangaroo Island, from the Eastern Cape, all the way to the Western Cape.
$10 from every ticket will be donated to Canteen Australia
We ran through the heat of the day, the cold of the night, and the pouring rain as the weather took at turn. We ran on dirt roads, empty highways at night, and dragged ourselves along the corrugated track into the Western end. We pushed our bodies willingly, and suffered for a short time, in the name of raising much needed funds for Canteen.
Up until now, we have raised almost $30k raised for Canteen. The power of community will never not amaze us.
Please join us for the night to celebrate our run, and to catch up with the wonderful people who made this run possible, you, our community.
Our great friend Pete Mann will be MCing the night, which will include the first screening of the doco, a Q&A, plus more!
Many thanks, Angus & Jackson, the Bruce Brothers.
