"Bruce" Dom Hazell & The DT's Do Springsteeen - Tiny Room Concert
Event description
"Bruce" is the long anticipated completion of Dom & The DT's Holy Trinity!
Having already masterfully covered the work of Paul Simon and Bob Dylan, Hazell now turns his attention towards The Boss.
He explains; “For me, Springsteen is the ultimate Singer/Songwriter. Paul Simon sometimes comes across as a little aloof and condescendingly intellectual, whilst Dylan often seems to be downright mean and scathing. Bruce is none of those things. He always seemed to be a man of the people, and there is no doubt he paid his dues and cut his teeth by being the straight up Real Deal.
“Bruce does all of it so very well - he writes truly great songs, he makes seminal albums, and he performs superlative live shows with his incredible band. He has managed to achieve massive commercial success, whilst receiving continuous widespread critical acclaim, and he’s never really embarrassed himself, he’s just continued to evolve and mature. He’s a true gem of an artist, a performer, and a human being.
He may be known as “The Boss”, but in truth he isn’t. He’s spent the last 50 years working for us - the people.”
Dom and The DT’s are joined this time round by Nigel Hirst on Saxophone, channeling the energy of The Big Man (Clarence Clemons), and providing a hermetic seal of authenticity to an already great band. This one will sell out quick, so don't dally.
