    Event description

We are excited to invite you to our first Braidwood Folk Club event in quite a while, featuring folk icon Bruce Watson... Join us on Thursday 21st April from 6:30pm at the Braidwood Uniting Church, 64 Monkittee St, Braidwood.

Bruce Watson's performances are always joyful and engaging, with witty lyrics and energetic presentation. A masterful craftsman of songs, be they evocative and heart wrenching or side-splittingly funny, Bruce has appeared at almost 200 folk festivals as well as many folk clubs and other venues across Australia, NZ and the UK. He has produced seven albums of original songs and appeared in over 20 compilation albums alongside artists such as Yothu Yindi and Christine Anu. For a taste of Bruce's performances, check out his showreel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRa-xpPQQ_Q or his lockdown choir video 'Deja Vu' which includes some local faces: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3wyHjdig2s.
