Brunch for Dignity - bag pack with the Mums

Help us make a difference this season.
We’re coming together to support Share the Dignity’s It’s In The Bag campaign. An incredible initiative providing essential items to women and girls experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. Every bag packed is a small gesture that carries a big impact, reminding women that they are seen, valued, and deserving of dignity. Together, we can ensure that every woman and girl receives the dignity she deserves this Christmas.

When: Friday 14th November 11am
Where: Grand View Hotel
Cost: Free to attend. Food and drinks can be purchased at your own expense.

What to Bring
Help us fill each bag with care by bringing along any of the following approved full size essential items:

• Period products

• Shampoo

• Conditioner

• Toothbrush

• Toothpaste

• Roll-on deodorant (preferred)

• Soap or body wash

• Handbag (new or in great condition)

Every item donated goes directly into a bag that will make a real difference to a woman or girl in need. Your contribution, no matter how small, helps bring comfort, dignity, and a little kindness this Christmas.

If this is your first event (great) there will be lots of new ladies attending who are looking to make new local mum friends, and we will be there to greet and make sure you feel welcome - so you don't need to worry.

You'll see Talia & Kate there in her pink tee ready to welcome you, and our Social Mums Club signage out the front.

I understand that by registering to this event I am aware that there may be photos taken of attendees. It is my responsibility exclude myself from any images taken if I don’t want my image to be used for the purposes of display, publicity and in promotional materials by Social Mums Club. This includes print and online platforms including newsletters, social media and websites

Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…

- We tend to keep our events small - so you don't have to walk into a big group

- We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group

- Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone

- You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.

- We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.
