Hear from author Briony Benjamin and successful founder Cathy U'Ren at a new location!

Be inspired, and build valuable connections 🙌

The next Brunch Like A Boss female founders event will take place on the morning of Tuesday, July 8, within the Level 4 event space at Southern Cross University! We love Harvest Foodhouse, who hosted our first two events of the year, and will no doubt return there in the future, but we're keeping things fresh and changing things up for July.

Join us for an inspirational, conversational event, uniting the Gold Coast’s leading ladies, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and CEOs. Be quick to register for your tickets so you don't miss out on being one of the amazing female founders coming together for this new era of business exchange.

At the SCU campus, we'll share our stories, strengthen our networks, create opportunities for investment, nurture innovative ideas and give rise to new and exciting collaborations. Make sure you brush up on your elevator pitch, as opportunities are limitless and your next collaboration could be sitting right beside you!

Speaker #1: Author and presenter, Briony Benjamin.

We're thrilled to welcome Briony Benjamin as a keynote presenter at our upcoming Brunch Like a Boss event. Briony is an author, speaker, and viral video producer whose journey has inspired audiences worldwide. After being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in her early 30s, Briony used her creative talents to document her experience, leading to her powerful book Life is Tough But So Are You. Her candid storytelling, mixed with warmth and humour, offers invaluable lessons on navigating life’s toughest moments while staying grounded, positive, and purpose-driven.

Briony’s work has been featured across major platforms including The Today Show, Mamamia, and The Project, and she continues to empower individuals to face adversity with courage and clarity. Don't miss this opportunity to hear her incredible story and walk away with practical insights on building resilience in business and life.

Speaker #2: Pet wellness superstar, Cathy U'Ren

Cathy is the founder and Chief Wellness Officer of Pet Wellness Centres, a Gold Coast based animal health business on a mission to transform the way veterinary services and pet health care is provided to our beloved pets. The spark for Pet Wellness Centres came from Cathy’s experiences during her career as a business executive in the dental and animal health industries along with her own very personal experience with her best friend Brain the Boston Terrier.

Cathy is an animal lover, a kickboxer, a yogi, a serial adventurer and traveler - and enjoys indulging her insatiable appetite for new knowledge and interesting experiences.
