Gentle Ben & His Shimmering Hands Brut Album Premières - Brisbane
Event description
Like the one-night stand you hoped to never see again, Gentle Ben & His Shimmering Hands are back to ruin your life, break your heart and make your loins quiver.
After leaving France in a smouldering, postcoital ruin, Gentle Ben turn their sights to the east coast of Australia to unleash their new album, ‘Brut’.
Gentle Ben returns to business with an album that joins the very select club of absolute masterpieces ... The melody, the orchestration, the voice… It’s breath-taking... haunted and elegant at the same time … lyrically packing a punch the record is littered with Regret, Bitterness, Tragedy, Redemption.
The Brisbane haute couture swamp rockers played at a former tobacco factory under a big-top, in a 14th century pub, in front of 10,000 fanatical French fans at Binic and will be hitting the road in September to sojourn Naarm, Taungurung Country, Gadigal and Meanjin.
