On Saturday, 29 October 2022 Brisbane State High School’s historical forecourt will be transformed into a glittering ‘roaring twenties’ gala inspired by the era of the school’s inception.
As the crowning jewel of the school's centenary celebrations, you are invited to join 400 guests in supporting the P&C Association's goal to provide equitable learning access for all students through a satellite library on the lower campus.
Are you a parent to a current student? The P&C gala occurs only once in a student's time at State High and the Centenary Gala will be the most prestigious one yet.
Alumni, are you due a reunion with classmates? This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a special evening with your cohort while giving back to the school.

Update as of 31 March 2022:
The P&C Association, in partnership with the school, have made the difficult decision to postpone the Centenary Gala originally scheduled for 7 May until later in the school year.
While not taking the decision lightly, the P&C acknowledges that the school community has experienced a challenging and disruptive start to 2022. The majority of Term 1 has been impacted by major flooding, delays to the school year, and increased cost-of-living pressures, with latest health advice anticipating a peak in the current COVID-19 wave around the proposed time of the Gala.
With the highly-anticipated Timeless event to also look forward to in Term 2 (tickets on sale now at www.qpac.com.au/timeless!), the Gala is being rescheduled to Term 4 to round out centenary celebrations and provide the school community two spectacular opportunities to get involved.
The new date for the Centenary Gala is Saturday 29 October. We can’t wait to see you there!
