BSLA | University of Canterbury, Cohort 5 Hamilton workshop: 11th and 12th August 2025

This registration is for the two-day in-person workshop on 11th August and 12th August 2025 in Hamilton at the Claudelands Event Centre

The in-person workshop will run from 9.00am - 3.30pm both days. You must also attend a 3rd day online on 4 September OR 5 September (select one date for 3rd day session) as part of this PLD.

Catering for the in-person workshops will be provided, but this PLD does not include transport costs or accommodation.

When registering, you will need to select from one of our tailored learning options, so we can best cater our content to your role. The options are:

• Option One: Class Teaching (Years 0-3) in BSLA Structured Literacy Teaching: Most suitable for teachers working with learners in Phase 1 of the ELA curriculum; year 0-3 learners.
  
  

• Option Two: Class Teaching (Years 4-8) in BSLA Structured Literacy Teaching: Most suitable for teachers working with learners in Phase 2 and 3 of the ELA curriculum; year 4-8 learners.
  
  

• Option Three: Literacy Leadership (Years 0-8) in BSLA Structured Literacy Teaching: Most suitable for roles with responsibility for literacy leadership and literacy support within or across schools (e.g., RTLits, RTLBs, literacy leads, SENCOs, LSCs, APs, DPs or principals).

You will also need to provide your ARN number (this was sent to your school in an email confirming your funding and looks like SLA_PLD_App-000XXXXX) to complete your workshop registration.
