Mental Health Week - Free Awareness Training
Description
Perth WA, we’re opening our doors to our HQ, The Tree House, this Mental Health Week for a FREE two-hour mental health awareness session. 💙
You don’t need to be an expert or have all the right words. We’re all human, and chances are at some point a mate, colleague, family member or even you will need a bit of support. This session is about learning how to recognise it, start the conversation and know what to do next.
Come straight from work, grab a bite to eat and spend two hours learning something you can take with you to work, home, your sporting club or the next catch-up with a mate.
📅 Tuesday 6th October
📍 The Tree House, West Perth WA (address provided upon booking)
🚪 Doors open 5:30pm
🕕 Session: 6:00pm - approx. 8:00pm
🍴 Catering provided
🎟️ FREE
What you’ll take away:
How to recognise when someone might need support
Practical ways to start the conversation
More confidence in what to do next
Where to turn for further support
Taking the session is Simon, our Training Manager, counsellor and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Facilitator. He knows these conversations from both sides of the training room and keeps things practical, down to earth and relevant to everyday life.
We’ve all had those moments where you can tell something’s not quite right, but you’re not sure what to say. Having a few tools behind you can give you somewhere to start.
