Buckley's was born in May 2022 during a round of golf on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. A tough day in the office, we sat down in the club house after our round knocking back a few cold ones, looked over at each other and thought, for a couple guys that just shot a combined score of over 200, there’s still no place we’d rather be.

So how could we bottle up that enjoyment, that incredible vibe we felt that fine day in South Carolina and share it with a community of like-minded people who want to experience the funner side of golf with us? Enter Buckley’s Golf Club and Apparel.

Why Buckley’s, you ask? Fair question. The name Buckley’s comes from Buckley’s chance, which is Aussie slang for having little or no chance. This pretty much sums up who we are as golfers - the golfers who go from hitting a birdie on one hole to driving their shot into the trees on the next. Buckley’s is all about knocking around a few balls, soaking up the sun outdoors, having a laugh with your mates and looking and feeling good at the same time!

On Saturday the 18th of February 2023, at Bondi Golf and Diggers we will be hosting the Buckley’s Bondi Classic which serves as the official launch of Buckley’s Golf - the golf and lifestyle brand for the common folk. It will be a day of tunes, three putts, shanks, Doozy seltzer’s, our first drop of Buckley’s apparel and a whole lot more.

Proudly sponsored by Doozy, the Buckley’s Bondi Classic tournament will be based on the rules of the classic golf game known as “Wolf”, meaning it’s anyone’s game for the taking and the person whose game it is will be rewarded handsomely. We will run through the rules of Wolf on the day, but feel free to look them up in the meantime.

After the tournament, join us at the Buckley’s Club House (Beach Road Hotel) for a couple of froths to continue the celebrations for the launch of Buckley’s.
