Meet UOW neurobiology researcher Noor Jarbou on how she repurposed her life on demand. As a Palestinian, born and raised in Kuwait, completed her education in Jordan, migrated to Australia, Noor tells a very personal story re-building a new life at each stage and the difficult challenges she faced to survive. After working for several years at the Jordanian Ministry of Health and at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Noor now juggles motherhood and a PhD.

Venerable MiaoZhe loves to teach the many ways people can draw upon Buddhist wisdom to help craft a renewed spiritual approach to life. Find a reliable way to clarity and inspiration as we repurpose. Venerable MiaoZhe is Secretary to Abbess Ven. Manko and a teacher-manager of the Nan Tien Buddhist College and Weekend Buddhist Academy, where she leads Buddhist classes in English to the local community. She has made a vow to share the Dharma to all who need inspiration and wisdom.

Meet Maree Thomson, a dedicated community builder with a passion for the connective power of food. As Managing Director of local food waste organisation Hidden Harvest, Maree comes from a background in Food Sociology and a career that has ebbed between hospitality, local government and grassroots initiatives. Through their advocacy work with Hidden Harvest, Maree transforms the problem of food waste into a delicious opportunity and serves up tasty insights into how we can cook up positive change in our kitchens at home.
