Money Matters - Goal setting, budgeting and taxes
Event description
Want to be in control of your money?
Financial Toolbox is back for face to face events! Our Workshop 2 - Goal setting, budgets and taxes covers everything you want to know about budgets and tax but were afraid to ask.
Our fun interactive workshops are developed and delivered by women just like you. Our workshops are flexible, giving you a chance to ask questions and get what you need out of each session while you share a drink and nibbles!
The workshops series includes four separate sessions covering how you can:
- Get ahead of your finances, take control of spending and saving and avoid traps so you can be financially independent and in control.
- Protect yourself from unexpected surprises which can have a big impact on personal finances.
Our budget tips will help you keep on top of personal finances, sort out money priorities, pay debts and find the right balance between spending and saving so you have enough for necessities and enough for fun! And what should you consider when preparing a tax return, or claiming deductions for expenses?
Our amazing specialist line up for this event includes Glennda Scully (Professor I School of Accounting I School of Accounting) and Violet Lim (Sessional Lecturer, Department of Taxation, Curtin Law School).
All workshops are hosted by our expert volunteers from Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and other specialist firms.   Â
Our presenters are independent and unbiased as we have no affiliation with any financial organisation.
