Bug Mania Workshop

Bug Mania is hitting the Marramarra Makerspace.

Join Michelle Hazelton, our local and regional winner of this years' Waste 2 Art competition and create some bugs using recycled tin cans!

Bring a bit of nature inspired, dramatic beauty into your home with a one-of-a-kind work of art, inspired by Victorian era glass dioramas, created by you! These still life's capture the beauty of recycling into a mantelpiece worthy artwork.

Make a wonderful concrete jungle beetle (your own creation) or a beautiful colourful butterfly, captured in a glass cloche.

What to bring:

• empty, washed, colourful aluminium cans
• old scissors (for cutting the cans)
• large coffee jar (if you have one)

Get ready to have some fun!

Participants must be aged 12 and up.
