In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, discover the satisfaction of lighting a fire the old-fashioned way. With mentor Chris to guide you, you’ll practise striking sparks from a flint and steel kit, just like the ones explorers and campers have relied on for centuries.

Learn the best techniques to catch a spark, prepare your tinder, and build a steady campfire you can gather around. It’s a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and connect with the simple joy of making fire without matches or lighters.

What you’ll take home: your own flint + steel kit, ready to keep the sparks flying on your next outdoor adventure.

For ages 8+ (under 8 welcome with adult help).
