Learn how to create a sanctuary for frogs, reptiles and other native species while making a real impact on local biodiversity. 
It’s hands-on, fun, and a perfect way to connect with nature—don’t miss out!

Matthew Vella, an enthusiastic wildlife educator from the Hawkesbury Herpetological Society, is passionate about showcasing Australia’s incredible reptiles and amphibians. 

Through his engaging program, Bluey in the Bush, Matthew brings these fascinating creatures to life, sharing their importance in our ecosystems and how we can protect them.

Looking for something fun, free, and family-friendly these school holidays? Join us at the Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre for a day packed with exciting activities for the whole family and nature-filled adventures!

When: Saturday, 18 January 2025
Time: 10am-4pm
Where: Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre, Corner Campus Drive and Science Road, Richmond, NSW (entry via Vines Drive, Richmond)

Nature play and ecology-based fun activities for kids to enjoy
Art workshop with Indigenous contemporary artist Jess Munro
Craft stations - check out the 11Rs section (including rag rug making, sign post building, deep watering systems)
