Building a Website using Squarespace

Please note: this event is run by the Small Business Development Corporation for small business owners in Western Australia only.

A website is one of the best ways for your clients or customers to learn more about your business, your brand and the types of products or services you offer.

Under the guidance of a Squarespace Authorised Trainer, this full day interactive workshop will teach you how to build a simple website in Squarespace including the basics of website design, adding and editing pages, connecting your social media accounts, adding brand fonts, colours and styles to your site, and checking mobile compatibility.

For this workshop you will need to do the following:

  • Bring a laptop and ensure you have a good WiFi connection. You will not be able to build your website on a phone or tablet.
  • Start a Squarespace account using any template
This topic covers:
  • How to use Squarespace to build a website
  • Design and layout of your new homepage
  • Scheduling, ecommerce and membership features within Squarespace
  • Adding your own brand style, fonts and colours to your Squarespace website. 

This workshop is suitable for business owners looking to build and maintain their own website.

The facilitator of this topic, Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) is dedicated to helping small business owners thrive through expert advice, hands-on workshops and building a community of like-minded people.

Bookings are limited to two tickets each, however you can make more than one booking. If you are booking for more than one person, please provide each person's email address so they receive our emails with important links and downloads.

If you cannot attend, please cancel so your place can be made available to another business owner. You can cancel your booking from the update order button on your order confirmation email. Cancellations and refunds for paid workshops can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop starts.
